New office-warehouse complex proving a great success
Safeman Australia has fully completed relocation of our head office and national distribution centre in Campbellfield Vic. and has been a major success and is now functioning to plan.
We have doubled the building area to an area of 3,500 square metres with the value expected from the move is now reflected in fast processing and delivery of orders and in the level of our staff satisfaction.
Safeman Australia’s managing director Joe De Nittis says “we now operate from a completely new warehouse with a multi-level racking system that enables us to carry approximately $4 million in stock of workwear and personal protection equipment that includes some 7,500 stock keeping units, so our response times enable us to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
“We were fortunate to be able to buy a new office-warehouse complex in the National Business Park in Campbellfield that was only a short distance away from our previous premises.
“The larger capacity has also enabled us to co-locate our embroidery and heat sealing equipment, so we offer an inhouse identity and corporate branding service that is a further benefit to our clients.
“And by staying locally in Campbellfield we retained all of our thirty head office staff that reside in the north-western precinct of Melbourne.
“In addition, Campbellfield gives us great access to the major arterial roads and freeways of the area and this is an important benefit for our clients” Mr De Nittis says.
Safeman Australia is supplying the safety equipment and PPE equipment needs for a number of Melbourne’s major construction projects and in addition has five interstate branch offices in NSW, Qld, WA, NT and Tasmania.
With a complement of over seventy staff Safeman is truly a national specialist in safety and personal protection equipment.
