A qualified Accountant, Joe De Nittis founded Safeman Australia Pty Ltd in 1989 recognising the need for an independent provider of quality safety products and customer service to Victorian industry.
Over the past 27 years he has seen this business grow into Australia’s largest independent safety equipment and workwear supplier to Corporate, Infrastructure, mining, distribution and manufacturing companies. Joe is committed to excellent customer service and continuous improvement within the business.
General Manager, Eastern States
Darren is the General Manager of Safeman Australia, overseeing the business in Victoria, NSW, QLD and Tasmania. During his 16 years at Safeman the company focus has been on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. As senior manager, he passes on his considerable experience and wealth of knowledge about the safety industry and requirements to all staff. Originally from the automotive spare parts industry he understands how important customer service and has a sense of pride in building strong relationships with his client base over the years.
National Sales and Business Development Manager
Dale has had 28 years in the safety industry with market leading companies. In recent times he has managed a specialist uniform supply company which dealt with large National corporate accounts with performance based contracts, providing performance and continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives. In addition, he also managed B2B ecommerce solutions including online uniform management systems. Dale is committed to providing exceptional service to his clients.
Sales Manager (Safeman WA)
Starting in the safety industry in 1995, Adam held a variety of positions in warehousing, internal sales, account management, product management and branch management.
In July 2010 he was given the opportunity to invest in Safeman WA and Starting with four staff members, this modest beginning has grown into the largest independent safety supply house in Western Australia with branches in Welshpool, Onslow and Berrimah, Northern Territory.
Adam’s success and that of Safeman WA is built around understanding customers needs and endeavoring to exceed their expectations.
Operations Manager (Safeman WA)
Danny started in the safety industry more than 20 years ago.
Progressing through, purchasing, warehousing and sales roles he gained excellent experience in managing teams and delivering service outcomes.
In July 2010 he was given the opportunity to invest in Safeman WA together with Adam Caruso. Together, they have built Western Australia’s largest independent safety supply service the Western Australia and Northern Territory. This business has grown on a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Sales Manager (Safeman WA)
Dean has worked in the Industrial and Safety industry for 16 years, with various market leading independent and corporate businesses. Dean’s extensive industry experience has included versatile roles including account management both general and major, branch management, business development and sales management.
He has personally managed and co-ordinated significant corporate contracts in the mining and oil & gas industries, as well as project managing and delivering national corporate contracts. His career success has been contributed to consistently meeting strategic KPI’s around DIFOT, improvement of backend processes, implementing cost saving initiatives and effective execution of B2B Ecommerce solutions, to name a few.
Dean has a genuine passion for the Safety Industry and a commitment to ensuring our customers receive a superior service experience in today’s market, whilst providing exceptional advice and education to our customers.
Darwin Branch Manager
Charlie has had extensive experience in the equipment hire industry, with particular involvement in the rental of earthmoving, access and general hire equipment. A long term Darwin resident he is using his local knowledge and contacts to secure new accounts and retain the services of existing customers.
New to the safety industry having started with Safeman in February 2017, we are committed to building relationships with Darwin businesses and provide superior service to the local business community.

Beverley has had 13 years experience in the Safety Industry, which has seen her gain extensive knowledge in servicing the corporate, infrastructure, manufacturing, warehousing & distribution, construction and mining industries and is currently Senior Account Manager for Safeman QLD.

Queensland Operations Manager
Garry comes from a trade background having had considerable experience as a plumber and sheet metal worker. He has had four year of experience in management roles and is currently responsible for Safeman QLD branch operations.

NSW Sales Manager
Dave has been involved in the safety supply industry for over twenty four years and has gained extensive experience by progressing through many roles, such as Sales Representative, Sales Manager and Company Director. The past eight years has been spent with Safeman Australia Pty Ltd as NSW State Manager with the responsibility of serving Safeman’s NSW customers.
Dave is motivated and eager for his branch to deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

Ian is a professional manager with over thirty years of experience in varying Industrial organisations within Tasmania and other States.
For the past 4 years he has been Manager of Safeman, Tasmania and has brought to this role extensive product knowledge and understanding of the safety supply industry
